Why Do People Join?

Our members tend to be one or more of the following:

• People wishing to indulge their appetite for the arts with others who share their interests;
• People bored with the same old routine looking to enliven both their cultural and social life;
• People who are new to London looking to meet new friends while exploring the city's cultural scene;
• People who like the idea of a company that will take the effort out of organising their cultural life by bringing the best of what London to offer directly to them

Is it a dating service?

No. Although the majority of My Cultural Life members are single, they do not sign up to My Cultural Life expecting to find romance - we are not a dating organization and don't match-make or attempt to contrive romantic scenarios. We do like to achieve a balance in the numbers of men and women at our social events, however, simply because they work better that way.

Of course, given that MCL facilitates social contact between like-minded individuals, it is certainly a possibility that people will find each other through the club but, for your part, we ask you to assume that other members are there for platonic reasons only and be discreet and respectful at all times.
